CRRC FIELD UPDATE - ZAPHIRA Large numbers of refugees gathered outside the CRRC Response Center in Little Pnako the other day, with long queues and extended wait times causing tensions to rise among those awaiting medical attention. CRRC personnel were able to calm the situation without incident, reorganizing the queues and reminding those waiting to allow the most severely injured and critically ill to be treated first. To help reduce pressure on medical staff, CRRC teams have also begun displaying basic first-aid instructions on floating holo-screens throughout the waiting areas. Refugees with minor injuries are being encouraged to provide basic care for themselves or one another while they wait to be seen by medical professionals. Security forces have also been reinforced on the edges to ensure the safety of all those waiting treatment against any attempted incursions. A little patience can save a life.
