Is there a better ammo type than phosphorus AP rounds against fancy techy armor? Asking for a friend. The friend is me. The friend also has very questionable ideas.

That does sound quite effective already. Though perhaps something with a tungsten or depleted uranium core to punch through that much harder. But if you can't punch through, something that delivers a high degree of kinetic energy to knock them over would likely suffice in a pinch.

hmmm high kinetic energy? Well I suppose I could always do 12.gage phosphorus slugs. Get the slap with the sun in your face the whip lash of getting hit with the force of a faqin sledge hammer 🤨

Yes yes, exactly. Perhaps tungsten buckshot or slugs with a phosphorous coating.

AP WP can be good if you want to cook them. Could try some EMP type rounds to disable the armor or an armor lock it. Always was fun to armor lock someone in fancy armor and just laugh at them while they can't do anything about it

Suppose but not sure how I'd make an EMP round in 7.62 or other standard calibers. And I can see how it'd be helpful in at least stopping them though hard to say how long that might last between types of techy armor. Some might even be resistant.

In service there was a EMP like round for our snipers in 14.5x114 but don't think there were any smaller then that and yeah with who knows how many types of armor there is now it might just do nothing
