The news on Palace has me horrified. The fact that the place where I made friends at my workplace, the same district I helped defend from gang activity is now falling apart...I can only hope the friends I made are somewhere safe...

So, I got talking to the mouse, yes.... that "mouse" from that one company. And he introduces me to that one kid that is finally having his third game. Mixed feelings recently. Doing Visiting Medical work on the side and dealing with a couple of intense situations medically makes me really grateful that I was there to help on one hand. On the other hand I find myself feeling extra exhausted when I finally travel home and see my fiancé and daughter. Time feels like it slows down for just a couple moments. I feel so greedy. I want more time to hold both of them before heading back out there.
