This morning decided to make a special kind of pancakes, Japanese Soufflé Pancakes! I understand it is eaten as more like a sweet treat of a dessert rather than your standard breakfast, but I suppose you could state I woke up with quite the urge for something sweet and fluffy! Airy with a custardy texture, sweet, and wonderfully flavorful. I ended up topping it with a bit of whipped cream and fresh fruit among a final dusting of powdered sugar. Turned out great! 🍪💚
